Our Statement of Faith

About God

There is one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Those three are co-equal and each possesses all of the attributes of God. God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and everything in it.

About Jesus

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is one with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is our Savior, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross for all sin, and was raised from the grave after three days to demonstrate His defeat of sin and death. He ascended into heaven and will return again to earth to reign as our powerful King.

About The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is one with God the Father and Jesus Christ. Those who accept Christ as their Savior will receive the Holy Spirit to live inside them. The Holy Spirit serves as our comforter, guide and advocate. The Holy Spirit is given to Christians and provides guidance in living, an understanding of the Bible, and prayerfully intercedes for them.

About The Bible

Our foundation is based firmly upon the Bible as our final authority on Christian beliefs and as a guide to living. The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, without error, given to man so that we may know and understand the truth of God and His love.

About Marriage

We believe that marriage is sanctioned by God. which joins one man and one women in a single, exclusive, covenantal union as described in Scripture. We believe God intends sexual intimacy to occur between a man and a women who are married. We believe that God has commanded No sexual intimacy be engaged outside of marriage between a man and a women. Scriptures affirm intimate sexual activity between married heterosexual partners. The teaching of the creation narratives (Genesis1-2) is clear that God created humankind as male and female in the image of God in order to reflect the glory of God to the rest of creation (Genesis 1:26-27). In the Gospels, Jesus affirms this creation purpose by citing the creation narratives in His dispute with the Pharisees over the nature and purpose of marriage (Matthew 19:5: Mark10:7-8).

About Salvation

Salvation is not something that can be purchased or eamed. It is a free gift from God provided by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and is received through faith. It is available to everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. That faith is expressed through repentance of sin and baptism by immersion.

Our Missions

StreetLight USA

StreetLightUSA provides crisis intervention. stabilization and housing, through a variety of programs and services tailored to meet the needs of young girls at risk for and victims of child sex trafficking.

With awareness of the trauma-informed care she requires, our aim is to help each girl find her true purpose in life, whether that is planting a seed of hope or walking alongside her into adulthood, we transition adolescent girls from trauma to triumph.

Choices Pregancy Center

Since 1983, Choices has been serving young women, men, and babies in the Greater Phoenix area. They’re staffed by client advocates and medical professionals who listen and provide the facts and information to help individuals make informed decisions about their body, sexuality, and future. All consultations are confidential and the majority of services are free or at a very low cost.

Many of the young women and men they serve are at a crossroads in their lives due to an unplanned pregnancy. They face one of the most important decisions about life at a time when they feel theirs is unraveling. They fear rejection, condemnation, and isolation from their family, friends and social circles. Choices does not refer or provide abortion services, but instead provides a safe place to talk, explore options, seek medical services, learn about available resources and hear about the hope available to all of us for a better life.

Heart For The City

Heart for the City challenges the five walls that trap at risk youth; physical, psychological, intellectual, social and emotional.

They work with the WHOLE child to raise up a new generation… not just through sports, education, job training and mentoring, but a program that breaks down the walls in all these dimensions of an at-risk youth’s life.

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him. – Psalm 127:3
